Black Ops 6 Ranked Play is in full flow with Season 1 Reloaded introducing a new weapon pool. While the weapon bans help get rid of broken loadouts, it results in players having limited options. That said, there are still some solid weapon and attachment combinations to pick from in the competitive mode.

When paired with the best controller and keyboard settings, our picks for best loadouts can help give you the edge over the competition. Here are the best Black Ops 6 Ranked Play loadouts to try out.

Best BO6 Ranked Play loadouts

Assault Rifles

With the Krig C, Model L, and XM4 all banned from Ranked Play, the only remaining AR options are the AMES 85 and GPR 91. Both weapons are still solid in their own right, with the AMES 85 offering better velocity and fire rate while the GPR 91 features better mobility.

We’ve put together two different loadouts for each weapon, one using the Gunfighter Wildcard and one without.

AMES 85 (Without Gunfighter)

AMES 85 loadout in Black Ops 6
  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Gain Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip

While optics can boil down to personal preference, the Kepler Microflex provides ample magnification alongside a clean line of sight making it our pick for this loadout.

To help minimize horizontal recoil, it’s best to use a Compensator for the Muzzle. If you’re confident in your aim, it might be worth switching to a Suppressor to hide your position on the enemy minimap. The Gain Twist Barrel significantly boosts bullet velocity which pairs well with the weapon’s solid damage range. To help minimize the recoil even further, use the Vertical Foregrip in the underbarrel slot.

Lastly, the Ergonomic Grip boosts your operator’s mobility by increasing the slide, dive-to-fire, and aim-down-sight speeds.

AMES 85 (With Gunfighter)

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Gain Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

The Gunfighter Wildcard will let you put more than five attachments on the weapon, moving to a total of eight. In the extra slots, we’re using the Balanced Stock for a further boost to mobility alongside the Recoil Springs Fire Mod to limit horizontal and vertical recoil.

GPR 91 (Without Gunfighter)

GPR 91 loadout in Black Ops 6
  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: Gain Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Commando Grip

Feel free to experiment with different optics but Suppressor is our pick for the muzzle. In the barrel slot, we’ve gone with the Gain Twist Barrel once more to boost bullet velocity.

The Ranger Foregrip helps offset the recoil gains by improving horizontal recoil and providing a small increase to the sprint movement speed. For the final attachment, we’re using the Commando Grip to improve the aim-down-sight speed and the sprint-to-fire speed.

GPR 91 (With Gunfighter)

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: Gain Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Commando Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

In the extra slots provided by the Gunfighter Wildcard, we’ve added the Balanced Stock and Recoil Springs. The stock reinforces and improves the base weapon’s solid mobility while the Recoil Springs tighten the recoil.

SMGs

Jackal PDW

Jackal PDW loadout in Black Ops 6
  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I
  • Rear Grip: Commando Grip

The Jackal PDW is a fast-firing, mobile SMG perfect for close-quarters combat. For all of the weapon’s merits, its recoil, damage range, and base ammo capacity leave a little to be desired. Our loadout helps address these issues starting with the Reinforced Barrel which helps improve the bullet velocity and damage range.

In the underbarrel slot, the Vertical Foregrip gets the nod as it helps tighten up the horizontal recoil, while the Extended Magazine I attachment increases the ammo capacity without damaging the reload times too much. Lastly, the Commando Grip boosts the aim-down-sight speed and sprint-to-fire speed to make sure that the weapon’s swift mobility is still intact.

If you’re using Gunfighter, it’s worth adding the Balanced Stock and Recoil Springs attachments to round out the build.

Pistols

Stryder.22 loadout in Black Ops 6

Stryder.22

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Magazine: Fast Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip

This is a fairly obvious build as the Stryder.22 is the only pistol in Ranked Play, and it only features three attachments. Since you’ll be switching to the handgun to get out of a tight situation, weapon draw speed and mobility are of prime importance. This is why we recommend the Fast Mag II for the best reload times alongside the Quickdraw Grip for maximum mobility.

Best Perks and equipment in BO6 Ranked Play

Ranked Play loadout in Black Ops 6 with Perks and equipment
  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket or Ninja
  • Perk 2: Fast Hands
  • Perk 3: Double Time
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
  • Perk Greed: Ninja or Dexterity
  • Melee: Knife
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Flashbang
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System

The Ninja Perk helps conceal the player’s position by decreasing the sound of their movement. This is a great quality to have, especially for game modes like Search and Destroy where positioning counts for a lot. For modes such as Hardpoint and Control, Flak Jacket is the way to go since it’ll help protect you from grenade spam.

Fast Hands is the only available option in Perk 2, while Double Time is an easy pick for Perk 3 since it increases tactical sprint duration. In the Wildcard slot, it’s best to go with Perk Greed and put that extra Perk slot to good use.

Semtex and Frag Grenades are both solid options for the lethal slot and it really comes down to personal preference. Use Flashbangs for the tactical to catch your enemies off-guard or enter fortified areas.
