Best Cypher 091 loadout in Warzone
ActivisionDespite its slow fire rate, the Cypher 091 packs quite a punch, especially if you use all the meta attachments. So, here is the best loadout for the Assault Rifle in Warzone.
The Season 2 content update has introduced three new weapons to Warzone. While the classic PPSh-41 has already gathered many admirers, the Cypher 091 isn’t far behind, with players impressed by its accuracy and mobility.
The AR is worth pouring time into, but you’ll need to use the best attachments, equipment, and Perks for optimal performance.
Cypher 091 loadout attachments
- Optic: Willis 3x
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
- Underbarrel: Precision Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
- Stock: Combat Stock
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
The Willis 3x has emerged as the standout optic for Warzone, offering plenty of magnification and a fairly clean sight so you won’t lose track of your enemies during long-range gunfights.
To help mitigate the Cypher 091’s recoil kick, make sure to use the Compensator and Precision Foregrip attachments. Together, they improve both vertical and horizontal recoil. To tighten the spread even further, the Recoil Springs mod is a great option.
You can’t go wrong with the Gain-Twist Barrel since it boosts the bullet velocity and improves the AR’s damage output. Next, we’ve gone for the Ergonomic Grip to enhance the weapon’s mobility through a variety of movement speed buffs. The Combat Stock has a similar effect as it increases the aim-walking speed and provides a decent bit of flinch resistance.
No AR build is complete without increasing the magazine capacity and the Extended Mag II is the way to go for the Cypher 091.
Perks, Equipment, and Wildcard for Cypher 091 loadout
- Perk 1: Survivor
- Perk 2: Quick Fix
- Perk 3: Ghost
- Wildcard: Gunfighter
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
Our Perks selections will help you regenerate health faster and keep you hidden from enemy equipment. The Survivor Perk boosts your health regeneration rate and decreases your revive time while Quick Fix lets you insert armor plates using one hand and triggers heath regen whenever you eliminate an enemy. Lastly, the Ghost Perk ensures that you’re undetectable by enemy Radar Pings while on the move.
To use all the attachments listed above, you will need the Gunfighter Wildcard. As for equipment, Semtex and Smoke Grenades are a reliable combination. The latter is especially important since it’ll help with rotations throughout the match’s duration.

Where is the Cypher 091 in the Warzone meta?
The Cypher 091 is certainly up there with the best ARs in Warzone, but its slow fire rate coupled with the tricky recoil pattern over long distances hold it back from dethroning the XM4. That said, the new Assault Rifle remains highly competitive at close and medium-range encounters.
How to unlock the Cypher 091 in Warzone
To unlock the Cypher 091, you’ll need to complete Page 8 of the Season 2 Battle Pass. The weapon is an HVT tier reward so you’ll have to gather enough tokens to unlock all the rewards on Page 8 before finally using a token to claim the Assault Rifle. The weapon is completely free to unlock so there’s no need to purchase the premium BP track.
Best alternatives
The XM4 is the most obvious alternative since it continues to dominate meta and it is also well-balanced in every aspect. Other weapons worth trying out include the XMG and the Krig C.
