Feng 82 in Warzone

Warzone Season 2 finally introduced a new LMG to the game in the form of the Feng 82. Despite some major shortcomings, the weapon is still worth trying out so here’s the best Feng 82 loadout for the Battle Royale.

As far as LMGs are concerned, the XMG has been the most popular pick across Warzone and Black Ops 6. The newly introduced Feng 82 has the potential to shake up the pick rate but you’ll have to contend with its exceptionally low magazine size. Fortunately, it can hit extremely hard if you make your shots count, and using all the meta attachments is always helpful as well.

So, here is the best loadout for the Feng 82 in Warzone, including our suggestions for Perks and equipment.

Feng 82 loadout attachments

  • Optic: Willis 3x
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

The Willis 3x has emerged as the standout optic for Warzone, offering plenty of magnification and a fairly clean sight so you won’t lose track of your enemies during long-range gunfights.

Since the Feng 82’s recoil pattern gets hard to control at long ranges, it’s necessary to decrease the LMG’s kick. The Compensator, Vertical Foregrip, and Recoil Springs attachments are all great options for this purpose as they help mitigate recoil across the board. The base LMG already packs quite the punch but those damage numbers can be improved using the Gain Twist Barrel

While the weapon boasts the best handling in its class, there is room for improvement which is why our build uses the Quickdraw Grip. The Balanced Stock is up next and the attachment provides a much-needed buff to movement speed. Lastly, the Extended Mag II significantly improves the Feng 82’s base magazine size.

Perks, Equipment, and Wildcard for Feng 82 loadout

  • Perk 1: Survivor
  • Perk 2: Quick Fix
  • Perk 3: Ghost
  • Wildcard: Gunfighter
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

For the first Perk slot, Survivor gets the nod as it boosts your health regeneration rate while decreasing the time it takes for teammates to revive you. Next, Quick Fix lets you insert armor plates using one hand and triggers heath regen whenever you eliminate an enemy. And for the final slot, the Ghost Perk ensures that you’re undetectable by enemy Radar Pings while on the move.

To use all the attachments listed above, you will need the Gunfighter Wildcard. As for equipment, Semtex and Smoke Grenades are a reliable combination. The latter is especially important since it’ll help with rotations throughout the match’s duration.

Feng 82 pros and cons

Low magazine size

Where is the Feng 82 in the Warzone meta?

The Feng 82 can dish out a ton of damage at medium distances and feels better to use when compared to other LMGs. However, the weapon is not a serious meta contender, especially since the XM4 is more consistent at long-range engagements while offering both, a faster fire rate, and better ammo capacity.

How to unlock the Feng 82

To get the Feng 82, you’ll need to complete Page 3 of the Season 2 Battle Pass. The weapon is free to unlock so there’s no need to purchase the premium track. If you don’t want to spend time leveling it up, grab the special weapon blueprint by reaching Page 10 of the Battle Pass.

Best alternatives

As far as LMGs go, the XMG is the best alternative to the Feng 82 thanks to a faster fire rate and better ammo capacity. If you’re willing to jump to a different class, the XM4 remains dominant in the meta.

Before jumping into next your match in Urzikstan, make sure to use the best controller and PC settings for Warzone.
