Rankings explained
5. TAQ Eradicator
The TAQ Eradicator is a powerful LMG that made its way into the title slightly after the launch of Season 1. While many in the community slept on this LMG upon its release, it has emerged as a strong pick to kill enemies across long distances.
Running the meta attachments on the TAQ Eradicator will help you bring the weapon’s recoil under control. However, after a slight nerf in Season 3 Reloaded, the weapon’s sprint-to-fire and ADS speeds aren’t great.
4. Holger 26
Thanks to its Assault Rifle-esque nature, the Holger 26 LMG is a deadly option in multiplayer matches. Given its large magazine and high damage output, this gun is perfect for holding down key lanes across any map.
While it might not be as powerful as its counterparts on the list, this LMG is a deadly pick that can be further improved when equipping the best attachments.
3. TAQ Evolvere
The TAQ Evolvere is a great LMG but it has fallen down this list due to previous nerfs. Before the 556 Belts Magazine attachment was nerfed, this gun was perfect as a close-range option thanks to the Tac-Stance feature.
While it doesn’t feel bulky, several nerfs in previous seasons keep it stuck at the third-best LMG spot in Season 4 Reloaded.
2. Bruen Mk9
Despite a slight nerf in the Season 3 update, the Bruen Mk9 remains a popular pick in MW3 Season 4 Reloaded. Veteran players will recognize this lethal weapon given its popularity during MW 2019’s lifecycle.
Unlike some of its counterparts, this LMG doesn’t feel too bulky, which makes it devastating at all ranges with a rapid TTK. While its damage is still competitive, the DG-58 LSW has overtaken it and claimed the top spot.
1. DG-58 LSW – Best LMG in MW3
After taking over Warzone, the DG-58 LSW also became the best LMG in MW3. Its damage over long distances is virtually unmatched, and its low recoil allows you to land headshots consistently.
When using its JAK Nightshade Rifle Kit to boost its damage, recoil, and movement, this LMG is unstoppable. Whether you want to move around the map, guard a key objective, or hold down the main lane on a map, there are few better guns in Season 4 Reloaded.
If you want to make the most out of the top weapons, you’ll need to make sure you’re utilizing the best controller and FOV settings first.
