Whether you want to pick off enemies from a distance in MW3 or just show off by quickscoping, the best Sniper Rifles are the way to go.

Although Season 4 Reloaded didn’t come with many major buffs or nerfs to the category, players are still wondering which Snipers they should run.

Rankings explained

5. KATT-AMR

Warzone KATT AMR Sniper Rifle
The KATT-AMR is a heavy .50 Cal Sniper.

You likely won’t be pulling off one quickscope after another with the KATT-AMR, but its damage range and bullet velocity allow it to hold down any lane on a map with ease. Again, you won’t be gliding around with this Sniper, but if holding down a power position suits your playstyle, then the KATT-AMR is the way to go.

4. KV Inhibitor

MW3 KV Inhibitor
The semi-automatic KV Inhibitor is incredibly easy to use.

A semi-automatic firing mechanic sets the KV Inhibitor apart from the bolt-action Snipers on this list. If its unique style of play isn’t enough to convince you to give it a shot, then its ease of use will. It has surprisingly less recoil kick than you’d expect for a semi-auto Sniper, making it easy to land one shot after another.

3. Longbow

Longbow with Modern Warfare 3 logo
The Longbow has excellent magazine capacity.

The Longbow maintains its top-three spot on this list thanks to the incredibly powerful JAK Tyrant 762 Kit. The Aftermarket Part increases the Longbow’s ability to dish out one-shot kills.

Combined with its already blistering speed and mobility, the Longbow feels similar to the classic Kar98k, thanks to its bolt-action mechanic. Despite receiving a nerf before the Season 3 update, the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit for the Longbow is still a worthwhile attachment to use on the weapon.

2. XRK Stalker

XRK Stalker with MW3 logo
The XRK Stalker was the first post-launch Sniper Rifle in MW3.

The XRK Stalker claims the runner-up spot among the best Sniper Rifles thanks to its top-tier damage and mobility. While it’s not the lightest Sniper Rifle around, it’s certainly more mobile than the KATT-AMR and still packs a punch.

With the right attachments, you can vastly improve the XRK Stalker, boosting the gun’s mobility and damage, going toe-to-toe with the MORS.

1. MORS – Best Sniper in MW3

MORS Sniper Rifle MW3
The MORS was originally featured in SHG’s Advanced Warfare.

The MORS from Advanced Warfare made its way to MW3 in Season 3 and has maintained the top spot ever since. Thanks to its electrical current effect, fantastic mobility, and quickscope potential, the MORS is one of the most fun Snipers to use in Season 4 Reloaded.

Although it did catch a slight nerf after it arrived, it’s still one of the most powerful guns in the game, capable of one-shotting at virtually any range with the right attachments.

While weaponry is important, you’ll want to use the best controller, audio, and FOV settings to maximize your chances of success in the game.
