Sniping has proved to be extremely effective in the Black Ops 6 beta, but which is the best Sniper Rifle to pick off enemies from a distance?

As you’d expect, Assault Rifles and SMGs like the XM4 and Jackal PDW have been the go-to picks so far as players look to make the most of omnimovement. But, if you want to counter the jumpers and divers, sitting back and landing one-shot kills from long range is the perfect way to do it.

So, here are the best Sniper Rifles in Black Ops 6.

Every BO6 Sniper Rifle ranked

There are only two Sniper Rifles in the Black Ops 6 beta, but both are capable of dominating lobbies in the right hands. However, although both have very different strengths and weaknesses, there is a clear standout even at this early stage.

Rankings explained

SVD

svd in black ops 6

The SVD is no slouch in Black Ops 6, as it’s capable of dropping players in just a single headshot from crazy distances. Luckily, thanks to its semi-auto fire rate and impressive accuracy, clicking those heads is an absolute breeze.

While it’s definitely a powerful long-range option, it does take slightly more skill to get the very best out of it. Unless you’re hitting headshots consistently, you’ll need to master the art of landing follow-up shots to secure a two-tap.

LR 7.62

Black Ops 6 player using LR 7.62 Sniper Rifle

The best Sniper Rifle in the Black Ops 6 beta is the LR 7.62, as it stands head and shoulders above the other long-range options. Although its bolt-action fire rate is less forgiving than the SVD, it more than makes up for it by being a one-shot kill to the head, body, and arms.

Also, with the right attachments and mobility Perks, you can also build it out to be the perfect gun for quickscoping. So, whether you prefer to hang back and take out players from a distance, or like to be aggressive and get in their face, the LR 7.62 is the weapon for you.
