The Black Ops 6 beta gives players their first experience with the new title’s multiplayer, offering a variety of game modes to enjoy while earning exclusive rewards.

If you’re wondering which modes will be available in the Black Ops 6 beta, here’s a breakdown of them all and their descriptions.

Every Black Ops 6 beta game mode

DominationCapture and hold objective zones to earn points. First team to reach the score limit wins.

The Black Ops 6 beta will have five modes for players to enjoy, from classics like Team Deathmatch and Domination to the new Kill Order mode and 6v6 Face Off.

Black Ops 6 players using omni-movement coming to Warzone
The Black Ops 6 beta features familiar modes.

Kill Order sees one player from each team selected as the HVT (High-Value Target). Similarly to Team Deathmatch, eliminations grant points. However, killing the HVT earns bonus points, you’ll want to target the enemy team’s HVT and protect your own. The first team to reach the score limit wins.

It’s similar to the VIP Escort game mode from Black Ops Cold War, except the player chosen as the VIP/HVT is not as limited as they were in CW. As the HVT, you also receive some armor, but you’re exposed on the map and HUD to enemy players.

Keep in mind that this is just the beta, and we expect many more modes to be available post-launch. Once we have an idea of all the modes that will be available, we’ll be sure to update this guide so stay tuned.

These game modes will be played on BO6’s 6v6 maps using new weapons inspired by the 90s.
