The Black Ops 6 beta features many of the game’s weapons, giving you a chance to get a taste of the arsenal early. The first SMG you’ll have unlocked is the C9, which is reminiscent of the iconic MP5 and it certainly performs just as well.

If you’re looking to take advantage of this compact SMG, here’s the best C9 loadout you can use in the Black Ops 6 beta, including the attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Best C9 loadout attachments in Black Ops 6 beta

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

First off, I love to use a Suppressor on my loadouts as it means I don’t have to worry about enemies tracking my location when I’m in a gunfight, especially if I’m trying to flank and get behind them.

I’ve then selected the Reinforced Barrel, which improves damage range and bullet velocity, making the SMG much more effective at range. Just like the muzzle, the barrel attachment also has no cons.

For a boost to mobility, the Ergonomic Grip means you can stay on target when diving, sliding, and jumping.

To provide more firepower, the Extended Mag II gives the SMG 50 rounds in a magazine, which is more than enough to take on multiple enemies before needing to reload. You’ll need the ammo too, as to finish off the loadout we have the Rapid Fire fire mod, which increases the weapon’s TTK.

Best Perks & Equipment for C9 loadout

  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Gung-Ho
  • Perk 3: Double Time
  • Perk 4: Dexterity
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade
  • Tactical: Stim Shot
  • Field Upgrade: Assault Pack

In the first Perk slot, I like to use Ghost to stay as hidden as possible on the map when enemies have UAVs and other recon devices out. Gun-Ho is a top choice for a mobile SMG like the C9, as it allows you to stay on the move while reloading.

I then have Double Time, which greatly increases the duration of Tactical Sprint, allowing you to get from A to B in no time.

When it comes to the Wildcard, I’ve chosen Perk Greed. This allows me to have the fourth Perk, Dexterity. This Perk reduces weapon motion while jumping, sliding, and diving, as well as reducing fall damage.

Having three red Perks allows you to get the Enforcer Perk Speciality, which provides a temporary buff to movement speed and health regen after each kill. All together, these mobility-based Perks make for a top C9 movement loadout.

As for Equipment, the Frag Grenade is an iconic Lethal that’s deadly when cooked, while the Stim Shot replenishes your health after winning a fight so you’re ready for the next engagement.

Lastly, the Assault Pack is a great Field Upgrade for those who love to use Stim Shots, as all you need to do is throw it down to restock your Equipment and ammo, allowing you to continue your streak.

How to unlock C9 in Black Ops 6 beta

The C9 is an immediate unlock in the Black Ops 6 beta, so it’s ready for you to equip and use as soon as you unlock Create-A-Class at Level 4. Once you do that, you’ll be free to equip the C9 and level it up, adding attachments as you do so.

Best C9 alternatives

The Jackal PDW is a great alternative to the C9, as it’s also a fully automatic SMG with great mobility and handling. If you want a bit more range, the XM4 is a top AR choice early on.
