Black Ops 6 beta’s synced progression means you won’t miss out on MW3 & Warzone rewards

It’s good news for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players as playing Black Ops 6’s beta will progress the Season 5 Battle Pass.

With Call of Duty’s Battle Passes giving back more CoD Points than you spent, there’s a real incentive to finish them before the next season starts. If you haven’t finished the Season 5 Battle Pass yet, you might have been worried that two weekends spent playing Black Ops 6 would hinder your progress.

Luckily, Activision confirmed in the Season 5 Reloaded blog that “All players will earn Battle Pass XP while playing the Black Ops 6 Beta.” The Early Access Beta runs from August 30-September 4, then there’s an Open Beta running from September 6-9, so there’s plenty of time to try it out before its October 25 launch.

Back in 2021, the Vanguard beta would level up your Cold War and Warzone Battle Pass, but that hasn’t been the case since. Instead, Modern Warfare 3’s beta rewarded you with a one-hour Battle Pass XP Token for each day you played.

Modern Warfare 3’s pre-season also allowed you to level up the MW2 Season 6 Battle Pass, but it isn’t yet clear whether BO6 will let you do the same.

MW3 Season 5’s Battle Pass should be one of the easiest to complete as not only will you level it up through the BO6 beta, but the Daily Login rewards offer three hours of Double Battle Pass XP, and logging in after Season 5 Reloaded gives 10 Tier Skips and a further 10 BP XP tokens.

A trick that could work (but I make no guarantee) is logging into MW3 or Warzone, popping a Battle Pass XP Token, then switching to the Black Ops 6 beta. The Double XP Token could still work but I wouldn’t recommend testing it with anything more than a 15-minute token.

You can also expect earnable rewards like Operator skins, Blueprints, and Calling Cards through the beta but the lineup hasn’t been revealed yet.
