Black Ops 6 PC system requirements explained – File size, minimum & recommended specs
ActivisionCall of Duty: Black Ops 6 hits PC and consoles on October 25, but can you run it? Here’s everything you need to know about BO6’s system requirements.
BO6 is one of 2024’s few AAA games to arrive on the Xbox One and PS4. While that’s good news for last-gen owners, it has an added bonus for PC players; with the game built for last-gen, it won’t be too difficult to run.
Outside of the campaign, you’ll always want to prioritize frames-per-second (FPS) when playing Call of Duty so the less intensive the system requirements, the better.

COD HQ is Call of Duty’s launcher so if you’ve been playing MW3 or Warzone and have it installed, BO6 won’t be as big of a download.

---|---|---|
Steam | 32 GB | 66 GB |
Battle.Net | 32 GB | 74 GB |
How do Black Ops 6 PC specs compare?
If your PC ran Modern Warfare 3 smoothly then you’re in luck because, at the time of writing, Black Ops 6’s official system requirements are exactly the same.
They aren’t too taxing compared to other major releases in 2024, either. Most other AAA games have moved on from last-gen consoles but with BO6 releasing on Xbox One and PS4, you’ll get away with having a slightly older rig.
To compare, you’ll need at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (6GB) to run Star Wars Outlaws, but Black Ops 6 only needs a GTX 960 (2GB) or GTX 1560 (4GB). On top of that, Star Wars Outlaws, which is current-gen only, requires 16GB of RAM while BO6 only needs 8GB.
