There are 21 different Perks to choose from in Black Ops 6, all of which are available in the beta. However, only three are available to you when you unlock custom loadouts at Level 4 and the rest need to be earned by ranking up.

We could see more introduced in the future as part of the seasonal updates, but these are set to be the launch lineup.

All Wildcards in Black Ops 6 beta

OverkillEquip any non-melee weapon in Primary and Secondary slots.Level 11
GunfighterGet 3 extra attachment points for your Primary weapon.Level 26
Perk GreedEquip an extra Perk.Level 19

Wildcards also return in Black Ops 6, offering major bonuses when building your loadout. Although you can equip one at a time, they have a huge impact on how you approach a class.

For example, by using Perk Greed, you can add an option from a different category to your loadout while still making the most of the Combat Speciality bonus.

Perk Combat Speciality explained

  • Enforcer (Red):
    • Killing enemies grants a temporary buff to movement speed and health regen rate
  • Recon (Blue):
    • Enemies can be seen through walls for a short time after respawn, a HUD edge indicator flashes when an enemy is outside your view, leave no death skulls when killing enemies
  • Strategist (Green):
    • Earn a score bonus for objectives and destroying enemy content through walls a short distance, deploy equipment and field upgrades faster

Combat Specialities are earned by equipping a Perk from the same category in all three slots. So, if you wanted the Enforcer effect, you could run Assassin, Dexterity, and Double Time.

These encourage players to steer away from the meta Perks of old and focus more on a specific playstyle, by offering unique effects that can’t be used any other way. So, it’s well worth taking this into consideration when putting a loadout.

Perks remain an essential part of Black Ops, even during the beta period. So, if you’re on the hunt for every reward or want to earn an early Nuke, make sure you choose wisely.
