Black Ops 6 synced progression system explained
ActivisionBlack Ops 6 brings a variety of modes for each type of player, but how is progress tracked across each one?
With a new arsenal of weapons to discover and the return of the classic Prestige mechanic, there’s plenty to grind. Thanks to a new synced progression system across multiplayer and Zombies, you can grind weapon levels, rank, and Prestige with a new emphasis on efficiency.
Synced progress across multiplayer, Zombies & Warzone in BO6
Black Ops 6 players will benefit from a synced progression system across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone when it comes to weapons and Prestige. This was confirmed in the CoD blog.
Weapon level
Weapon level progress will be shared across the modes. For example, if you reach weapon level six with a gun in Zombies and switch to multiplayer or Warzone, that weapon will also be at level six. The same applies when transitioning from Warzone or multiplayer to Zombies.
This will give players more options than ever to unlock attachments and grind weapons.
Rank & Prestige progress
The same can be said for your rank and Prestige progress. BO6 uses a unified Prestige system across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. No matter which mode you prefer to sink more hours into, your progress will be displayed through your Prestige across both modes.
Camo challenges are separate, however, as Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone all have their own set of Mastery camos.
For launch, multiplayer and Zombies will follow this synced progression, and we expect Warzone to be integrated into the system once Season 1 is introduced. This is also when Warzone will receive all its BO6 changes, including the new Area 99 map and omnimovement.
So, once Warzone Season 1 lands, your Black Ops 6 rank and weapon levels will transfer over, and you’ll be able to continue your Prestige grind when playing the battle royale.
