The Black Ops 6 leaks have been virtually unavoidable, and the footage appears to have confirmed that two popular modes are returning after years away.

On August 4, the internet became overrun with Black Ops 6 leaks, revealing the weapons, Scorestreaks, and even the new Warzone map. But, as more and more details emerge, it looks as though two fan-favorite game modes are going to be making a comeback – Uplink and Prop Hunt.

Revealed by leaks page ‘CoD Warfare,’ Uplink is a mode that tasks players with carrying a satellite drone to the enemy team’s Uplink Station to score a point, but the player who has the drone must hold it like a ball.

During this time, they can’t use their weapons, but they have extra health and movement speed to help them survive while the other team tries to steal it and score for themselves. They can also throw the drone to score points or keep it safe, and even pass it directly to teammates.

Uplink has been missing from the Call of Duty series since 2017’s Infinite Warfare, meaning fans haven’t been able to enjoy the mode for almost seven years.

The second leaked mode expected to return in Black Ops 6, according to ‘Forward Leaks,’ is Prop Hunt, the popular party playlist that has appeared in plenty of FPS titles over the years. In Prop Hunt, you transform into random objects to hide from the player selected as the hunter.

The objects you can turn into range from small decorations like plants to larger and more noticeable assets like phone boxes. The aim is to survive as long as possible, which gets progressively harder as each time a prop is found and killed they join the opposing team.

We haven’t seen Prop Hunt in the series since 2020’s Black Ops Cold War, so fans will no doubt be eager to hop into the amusing mode once again.

However, it’s worth keeping in mind that this is all based on leaks and there’s no official confirmation just yet.

The Black Ops 6 beta is due to begin on August 30, so we’ll have to wait and see if either Uplink or Prop Hunt will appear in the trial run. Either way, the beta will be the first time that we see the new set of Perks and Equipment in action.
