Black Ops 6 & Warzone Global Weapon Builds feature explained

Warzone integrates with Black Ops 6 with the Season 1 update, bringing all the weapons, Operators, and omnimovement system to the battle royale alongside the new Global Weapon Build feature.

This new mechanic shares your weapon builds between all the different modes to make your loadouts easier to manage. Here’s how Global Weapon Builds work across Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

What are Global Weapon Builds in BO6 & Warzone?

Global Weapon Builds let you use the same loadout across Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Once you’ve built the weapon, you can access it no matter which mode you play.

Wildcards will also be in the battle royale, so if you use Gunfighter to put eight attachments on your weapon, that will also carry over.

The feature should be in the game at launch between multiplayer and Zombies but will arrive in Warzone with Black Ops 6’s weapons as part of the Season 1 update. It won’t work for MW2 and MW3 weapons though, they’ll still be separate.

The idea is that you’ll spend less time in menus trying to keep all of your loadouts updated. However, how much players will actually use this system remains to be seen.

Weapon builds across multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies are typically very different. In multiplayer, you don’t need to equip 60-round mags or 3x optics, but with battle royale’s large maps and longer TTK, they’re pretty much essential.

Players might opt to keep their loadouts separate across the different modes despite having the option to use the same one, but we’ll need to wait and see what the meta looks like.

Alongside BO6’s content, the battle royale mode appears to be returning to its pre-Warzone 2.0 simplicity, ditching the backpack system and only letting players equip three Perks in their loadout.
