Treyarch have begun revealing details about Black Ops 6 Zombies and players are already impressed by the sheer size and scale of one of the maps.

Black Ops 6 marks the return of the round-based format that fans know and love, but if you thought that meant a return to smaller maps you’d be wrong. Two Zombies maps will be available at launch, the first of which, named Terminus, is set on a remote prison island in the Pacific Ocean.

On August 8, we got our deepest look at the map so far, showing exactly what to expect come launch day. CharlieIntel shared a post on X revealing that a Tactical Raft can be used to get around the island, traveling across the water to reach far-away locations.

The clip showed a player going past huge woodland areas and entire ships stranded at sea, as well as a tentacled monster that appeared from the water.

The 45-second clip was enough to get Black Ops 6 fans excited, with many responding to say they were impressed with the “top quality” scale of the Terminus map.

“Terminus is gonna be a whole experience,” said one reply, before leaker ‘TheGhostOfHope’ added: “This map is f*****g huge LMAO.”

Seeing how large the island was, and the number of different locations and environments to explore, also left players eager to jump in and start searching for Easter eggs.

“Holy s**t this map is massive, I’m genuinely very excited for this Easter egg, especially since they confirmed they will be difficult again,” added one reply. “God we’re actually so back,” said another.

Terminus isn’t the only map in Black Ops 6 Zombies at launch, as Liberty Falls will also be available alongside it. We haven’t seen too much about the second map so far, but we do know that it’s set in a quiet West Virginian town.

More details on Zombies, as well as multiplayer and the campaign, are set to be revealed at Call of Duty Next on August 28.
