Blackout gets Apocalypse Z-themed map in separate playlist with heavy fog, Avenged Sevenfold character debuts

Treyarch has detailed the new Operation Apocalypse Z for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 during a studio live stream today.

As part of the new Operation, Treyarch has added in to the game a new, updated Blackout main map as a separate playlist that has heavy fog with the ‘fog rolling in’ theme in the game.

This themed map is exclusive in a featured playlist just to allow players to opt into when they want to play with this style of gameplay. The new, specific playlist map also has wall buys added into the Asylum location.

The new, updated map also has a new Zombies AI type that can break down doors, garages, and more to be more themed with Zombies taking over the arena for players.

Also announced during the stream is that Avenged Sevenfold’s lead singer, M. Shadows, will be getting his own character in Blackout. The character will be available in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

Blackout also gets a new vehicle, a side-car themed is coming over the next few weeks.
