Call of Duty: Ghosts campaign progress won’t transfer from current to next gen

Kotaku has just been able to confirm by an Activision rep that you won’t be able to transfer your campaign progress from current gen to next gen.

Activision (and other publishers) have been touting the feature that would allow you to carry stats over, but it’s now confirmed only multiplayer stuff will be transferable. And, it’s only within a console family.
