Classic Weapons in Infinite Warfare will be unlocked via earning tokens by prestiging

At Call of Duty XP, it was announced that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare would feature a class of Classic Weapons, which are fan favorite weapons from previous Call of Duty titles for fans to use in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer. Infinity Ward, at Call of Duty XP, did not provide details as to how players would actually end up unlocking these weapons to use in-game.

However, Infinity Ward’s Lead Multiplayer Designer Joe Cecot has posted on Twitter that in order to unlock the classic weapons, players have to prestige. When you prestige, you will receive a Classic Weapon Unlock Token, which can be used to unlock one Classic Weapon available.

Infinity Ward has not revealed all of the classic weapons that will be available in Infinite Warfare, but Cecot has hinted on Twitter that the classic weapons will be visible in the beta of the game. It’s not clear if the weapons will be usable in the beta, however.
