CoD players blown away by Warzone Mobile graphics: “Who needs a console?”
ActivisionWarzone Mobile gameplay has left Call of Duty fans gobsmacked, as many are even calling it better than console graphics.
Call of Duty branched out to the mobile scene many years ago, as Call of Duty: Mobile continues to be a success since its release back in 2019.
It was one of the biggest mobile game launches in history, and with the development of Warzone Mobile, Activision could make history yet again. Many are excited to get their hands on the free-to-play shooter on mobile, with the official launch still set for 2024.
More and more details have trickled out since its announcement and limited regional releases, as well as gameplay, which has recently impressed players thoroughly.
Not only will Warzone Mobile feature the battle royale experience on the beloved Verdansk map, which many players are eager to hop back into, but it will also have a multiplayer experience similar to that of Modern Warfare 2019.
More gameplay was shared on February 25, 2024, showing Warzone Mobile’s multiplayer experience and many were completely blown away by the graphics.
ModernWarzone shared a post on X that said the gameplay looks “almost as good as the other Call of Duty Games that release on console these days.”
The gameplay shows a player on Modern Warfare 2019’s Shoot House map, enjoying some Hardpoint. The game looks smooth, and the graphics are impressive for that of a mobile game.
A Call of Duty fan in the comments of the post agreed, “This is actually nuts – game looks better than 360/PS4.”
Another said that the game looks so good that they “might start ignoring” their console, while one comment even read, “Wow, mobile games stepping up their game! Who needs a console anymore?”
Clearly, players are impressed by Warzone Mobile‘s level of graphics, as some feel it’s even better than the console experience: “Looks better than most Call Of Duty console games right now & that’s scary.”
Others are slightly more skeptical, as one comment said the gameplay is “highly edited,” while another claimed that the gameplay looks better thanks to the device it’s being played on, motion blur, saturation, and sharpness.
We’ll have to wait and see just how similar this gameplay will be to the actual Warzone Mobile experience when it launches this year. For now, check out everything we know about Call of Duty 2024.
