Call of Duty fans have been blown away by a fake Black Ops 6 Zombies teaser that was so well made it fooled many into believing it was real, and some wish it was.

It all started when a now-deleted Reddit user put a post up in the Black Ops Cold War subreddit regarding the Wardial terminal you can interact with in the Campaign’s safe house.

The post has since been deleted, but the next day, the same account shared a new set of codes that they claimed had been found in the Wardial terminal, which you can check out below.

The codes on the terminal had an email hidden within. Fans in the community, including popular Zombies content creator MrRoffleWaffles, also known as Milo, began sending emails to the address and they received cryptic images back.

The images were made to look like shots of top-secret evidence, with people, places, and objects featured in them. They seemed legit as it fit the Black Ops aesthetic of confidential documents on a forensic table, making the teaser seem even more believable.

Milo began unraveling the teasers, but eventually, Activision reached out and let people know that these teasers were all fake, despite looking real. Activision have confirmed that the images and website do not belong to them.

The fake teaser was so intricate and detailed that many believed it to be legitimate. Milo continued to decode and get to the bottom of the fake teaser even after finding out it wasn’t real just because it was so well made.

After solving it, the YouTuber said, “This was INCREDIBLY well done!” and even called for whoever created the teaser to get a job at Treyarch.

MrDalekJD, another popular Zombies content creator, even hoped that they were real, as he felt the fake teaser had brought back some of the “magic” Zombies has been missing.

Whoever pulled off these fake teasers did an amazing job, as MrDalekJD even said it was “1:1 to what Treyarch/Activision would do,” giving the person behind it props.

Call of Duty Next will reveal more about Black Ops 6 Zombies, which is said to be launching with two round-based maps. We’ll also get to see more multiplayer gameplay at the event too, which is speculated to have one of the slowest TTKs in franchise history.
