Given Warzone Mobile requires 120 players to fill a lobby, many are wondering if the game has bots. Here’s everything you need to know about bots in Warzone Mobile.

Warzone Mobile brings back Verdansk and Rebirth Island, however, a large number of players are required to join a lobby, which led players to believe that WZM could use bots.

Since the game’s release, players also reported that their Warzone Mobile matches seemed too easy, almost as if they weren’t playing against real players. So, here’s everything you need to know about bots in the game.

Are there bots in Warzone Mobile?

Activision confirmed that Warzone Mobile lobbies could have bots for the “sake of optimal matchmaking times,” but the game will prioritize filling the lobbies with up to 120 real players.

This was shared during the Call of Duty Next event on September 15, 2022.

Given that battle royale mobile games are “usually loaded up with boring bots,” the Warzone Mobile team felt that it was “more important and a lot of fun to play with real live human opponents.” This allows players to avoid getting tired of encountering a huge number of bots, and instead, being challenged by active players constantly.

However, not every game mode needs to fill lobbies with 120 real players. For instance, in multiplayer or Resurgence where player counts are lower, the chance of encountering bots is very low.
