Forgotten Warzone LMG smokes STG44 after major buffs

Warzone Season 5 Reloaded brought a bunch of buffs and nerfs to the game, shifting the meta and opening up a path for the Pulemyot 762.

The heavy LMG was a popular choice when MW3 first merged with Warzone but fell off after balance changes and new weapons were introduced. Now, after buffs to its mobility, handling, fire rate, and damage multipliers, it’s a top long-range option in Season 5 Reloaded.

This spot was previously held by the STG44, but after using the best Pulemyot loadout in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded, I found it to be more effective than the Assault Rifle. This is thanks to its fast TTK at range and easy-to-control recoil, which combine for deadly results.

The base magazine size of 100 is also a big bonus, as it means you can dish out some serious damage over time, allowing you to secure kills and take on multiple enemies.

The major downside is the mobility and handling, as despite some improvements to sprint to fire and aimed down sight times in the mid-season update, it’s still a slower weapon than other long-range options in the AR and Battle Rifle categories.

That said, if you can get used to the slower speed and play to the weapon’s strengths, it can be extremely lethal. Plus, if you run a more close-range SMG like the Striker or Static-HV, you’ll have no issues in more close-combat situations.

In agreement, IceManIsaac too holds the Pulemyot 762 in high regard after the update, including it in his long-range meta loadouts video after the STG44 nerf.

The popular YouTuber called it his “favorite gun” to use in Warzone right now, with “hardly any recoil” and an “insane amount of damage per mag.”

So, if you’re looking for a new long-range loadout to dominate all maps in Warzone, the Pulemyot 762 could be the pick of the bunch. If you’re looking to get the most out of the gun, make sure you get your loadout as fast as possible.
