MW3’s Season 3 Reloaded update introduced the new Zombies Act 4 Union Story mission to rescue Dr. Jansen. So, here’s how to start and complete it in MW3 Zombies to earn valuable rewards.

The Season 3 Reloaded MW3 Zombies update introduced the continuation of the Act 4 story mission, where players are tasked with saving Dr. Jansen.

How to start Union mission in MW3 Zombies

To start the Union mission in MW3 Zombies, you’ll need to activate it from the mode’s Act missions menu before dropping into Urzikstan and heading to the Rift located in E4.

Like other story missions, be sure to be prepared fully equipped with a 3-plate armor Vest and weapons Pack-A-Punched at least to Level 2. The mission’s portal is located in the highest Threat Level zone.

The Union Story mission Rift is located inside the High Threat zone.

MW3 Zombies: How to complete Union mission

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you to complete the Union Story mission in MW3 Zombies.

Once you enter the Rift located in Urzikstan’s E4 map location in MW3 Zombies, marked with the Union waypoint, you’ll need to enter the Dark Aether and begin the story mission objectives.

Follow Ravenov until you find Dr. Jansen and he enters the Aether clouds. Then, two Orbs marked with a yellow waypoint will spawn in different map locations, you’ll need to locate them.
Once the Orbs are taken down they will transform into Crystals, inspect them by pressing the interact button when in front of them. After this, a sequence will appear in the Crystals, to weaken them you’ll need to find the symbols located in the buildings nearby. Be sure to shoot them in the same order they appear in the Crystal sequence.
If done correctly, each Crystal will turn red enabling you to shatter it by shooting it with your gun.

To shatter the Crystals, you’ll need to shoot at each symbol in the order of appearance.

After you shatter both Crystals, return to Ravenov’s location and wait for the three Seals to be revealed. Activate them by interacting and then kill zombies near them until you reach the required amount. Activating the fourth Seal will spawn the Taoxia boss along with Tier 2 Zombie hordes.

MW3 Zombies Union mission: How to defeat Taoxia & rewards

To defeat Taoxia in the MW3 Zombies Union mission, players will need to aim at the boss’ head. While this won’t be a difficult task, this is the easiest way to kill Taoxia. Throughout the process, Toaxia will spawn Mimics and Manglers making it immune to damage until you kill them.

The Giraffe Toy Attuned Relic will be useful to complete MW3 Zombies Season 3 Reloaded’s Easter egg.

Killing Taoxia grants you a Reward Rift, containing the Giraffe Toy Attuned Relic item for the Dark Aether Rift Easter egg of Season 3 Reloaded. To finish the Union mission, escort Dr. Jansen to the Exit Rift and leave the Dark Aether. Doing this will trigger the new Season 3 Reloaded story cinematic.
