MW3 Zombies is all about getting the best gear possible. Looting up and surviving to exfil is the aim, and with MW3 Season 1, new content such as the Dark Aether Rifts and the new Bad Signal mission don’t make survival much easier.

How to get MW3 Zombies Aether Blade

To get the Aether Blade in MW3 Zombies, you will need to enter Tier 3 of the Dark Aether and complete as many Contracts as you can to earn the Aether Blade Schematic in a reward rift.

To do this, you need to:

1. Complete the Bad Signal Story Mission.
2. Unlock Tier 2 of the Dark Aether.
3. Earn an Elder Sigil by completing Contracts in Tier 2 of the Dark Aether.
4. Place the Elder Sigil on the Dark Aether portal to turn it red.
5. Complete Contracts in Tier 3 of the Dark Aether until you get Aether Blade Schematic in a reward rift.

This is not an easy feat, as unlocking Tier 3 of the Dark Aether is a bit of a grind itself, and it’s very difficult to survive and complete tasks in Tier 3 of the Dark Aether, so make sure you and your squad are fully geared up.

Once you unlock Tier 3 of the Dark Aether, however, you will never need to do so again.

If you manage to complete a Contract in Tier 3 of the Dark Aether Zone, there’s a high chance you will get the Aether Blade Schematic. There are three new Schematics you may acquire as a reward: Dog Bone, Golden Armor Plate, and the Aether Blade.

How to use the Aether Blade Schematic in MW3 Zombies

Simply exfil with the Aether Blade Schematic and you will be able to craft it in the gear section of MW3 Zombies to use in the Lethal slot of your inventory. There’s a 48-hour cooldown for the Aether Blade, so use it wisely.
