How to get MGB Nuke Killstreak in MW3
ActivisionThe tried-and-tested Nuke Killstreak is available in MW3 as the MGB Tactical Nuke. It’s the toughest Killstreak to get in the game, so you’ll need the best weapons to have a chance to call it in.
Here’s how to get a Nuke and win a match instantly in Modern Warfare 3.
How to get a Nuke in Modern Warfare 3
The MGB Tactical Nuke is earned by getting a 30-kill Killstreak in one match. You can only use your weapons and equipment to reach the tally as Killstreaks or Scorestreaks won’t count toward the total.
Players don’t need to equip the Killstreak before a match, as anyone who gets 30 kills in a row with weapons and equipment will automatically get the Nuke.
Although MW3 takes players to classic maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009), the Nuke has the same requirement as recent titles like Cold War and MW2 2022, instead of the original 25 kills needed.
How to call in Nuke
Once you’ve hit 30 kills without dying, the MGB Tactical Nuke will appear on your screen and you can call it in using right on the D-Pad or hit the corresponding numbered key on PC. Your character will then punch a code into a tablet to start a short countdown before the bomb is launched.
Calling the Nuke brings the active match to an end and secures an instant victory for you and your team. So, if a player on the enemy team is racking up plenty of kills without dying, be sure to deal with them to keep the game from ending early.
Is the MGB Nuke currently in MW3?
Yes, the MGB Nuke is available after returning to Modern Warfare 3 at the start of Season 5, replacing the DNA Bomb.
The devs confirmed as much in the patch notes: “With the looming threat of a DNA Bomb now contained, the M.G.B. returns.”
If the DNA Bomb or any other streak replaces the classic Nuke, we’ll be sure to let you know.
