How to unlock Mercury camo in MW3 & Warzone
ActivisionThe MW3 and Warzone community loves the content-grinding challenge, especially exclusive weapon camos they can display while playing. Luckily, Season 5 adds to this by introducing the new animated Mercury camo.
So, here’s all you need to know about this new Prestige Weapon camo, including how to unlock it.
How to get MW3 & Warzone Mercury Prestige Weapon camo
- Reach max level with the gun you want to unlock the Mercury camo for.
- Earn the One Trick and Molten Obsidian camos for that same weapon.
- Then, gain an additional 250,000 XP.
To get the Mercury Prestige Weapon camo in Warzone and MW3, you must earn 350,000 Weapon XP (150,000 for One Trick and 200,000 for Molten Obsidian) before completing the additional 250,000 XP.
Prestige Weapon camos are unlocked individually for each MW3 and MW2 weapon. However, you can track progress for multiple camos simultaneously, as it saves the XP totals for each one.
The camo will be available at the start of the Season 5 update, which kicks off on July 24, offering a ton of time to unlock it. Be sure to use Double Weapon XP tokens and our best tips to speed up the process and maximize your XP gain.
As shared in the Season 5 blog, MW3 and Warzone’s Mercury camo features a “molten animated polyatomic-style between a deep green and purple.”
The Mercury camo will probably be the second to last camo of the Prestige roster, as it’s expected to be completed with Season 6. These camos were introduced with each major seasonal patch starting with Season 3 Reloaded.
Along with a new camo, the fifth update brings a ton of new content, including a WWE collab with several popular characters arriving as Operators, themed modes, and four new weapons joining the roster, featuring the iconic STG Assault Rifle.
