How to unlock Reclaimer 18 in MW3 & Warzone

The Warzone and MW3 Season 4 Reloaded update brings a host of new weapons to unlock, including the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun that long-time fans will recognize as the SPAS-12.

After the returning Kar98k dominated the meta for much of Season 4, players are eager to get their hands on another classic gun, this time from the original MW2.

If you want to gun down enemies like it’s 2009, here’s how to unlock the popular Shotgun.

How to get SPAS-12 Shotgun

The Reclaimer 18 Shotgun can be unlocked by completing the Sector 23 of the Season 4 Battle Pass, which was the previously locked Classified Sector before the mid-season update was released.

You’ll need to complete five different challenges to earn four sub-rewards before finally getting hold of the SPAS-12 by completing an unlock challenge. Here are all the challenges required to get the classic Shotgun:

1. Double XP Token: Get 10 Operator or Special Zombie Kills with Shotguns
2. Angel of Death Large Decal: Get 10 Operator or Special Zombie Hipfire Kills with Shotguns
3. Kill Shot Emblem: Get 5 Operator or Special Zombie Kills while Aiming Down Sights with Shotguns
4. Elegant Riposte Finishing Move: Get 7 Operator or Special Zombie Tac Stance Kills with Shotguns
5. Reclaimer 18 Shotgun: Get 5 Operator Headshot or Special Zombie Critical Kills with Shotguns

Long-time Call of Duty players will remember the SPAS-12 as one of the most powerful close-range guns in MW2 (2009) and the dev’s descriptions of the gun make it sound like it’ll be just as lethal.

“Veteran Call of Duty players may know this heavy-hitting, legendary 12-gauge shotgun by another name, you’ll be able to empower your arsenal with this classic slide-action shotgun that packs a rapid and powerful punch,” stated the Season 4 blog.

That’s not all that’s coming in Season 4 Reloaded, as the mid-season update also brings the new Mutation and Havoc modes to MW3, as well as Redacted Weapons and some major map changes in Warzone.
