The Gamescom Opening Night Live event will kick off on August 20 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM BST.
Although last year’s event lasted nearly three hours, the exact timing for the release of Black Ops 6’s campaign gameplay remains uncertain. It could be shared at any point during the event. We’ll be sure to update this section if new information is announced.

What to expect
Following the same steps MW3 took last year, the event is expected to reveal a complete campaign level playthrough from BO6. While it remains a mystery if any Treyarch devs will join Geoff Keighley on the stage to talk about the game, there is a possibility that this could happen.
In previous events where Call of Duty was present like for Vanguard or MW2 releases, the dev team joined the stage to share their thoughts behind the game’s narrative.
Treyarch shared a ton of content throughout July and August, including a deep dive into Zombies, but there’s still a lot left to reveal. The campaign only featured briefly in the game’s initial reveal during Xbox’s July 9 CoD Direct event.
With the campaign gameplay reveal, players can expect to see the characters and weapons in action. Also, it should give a glimpse into some of the settings and locations they can visit in the mode.
