Iconic Warzone rifle absolutely “slaps” again thanks to this powerful attachment
ActivisionThe Warzone devs are constantly releasing balancing changes to keep things, but FaZe Booya has revealed that an iconic Assault Rifle that was nerfed out of the meta is a top choice again thanks to one powerful attachment.
Warzone players have no shortage of options when it comes to building their ideal loadouts, as there are well over 100 different guns to choose from. While SMGs and LMGs are popular options for close and long-range respectively, the versatility of Assault Rifles makes them the go-to for many players.
But, since the devs are constantly shaking up the meta with regular balancing changes and updates, sometimes believed weapons find themselves out of favor as the community flocks to the most overpowered picks.
This was the case with the MCW, better known as the ACR, which was handed a nerf back at the start of Warzone Season 2. However, CoD expert FaZe Booya thinks the classic rifle is ready to challenge again thanks to a brand-new attachment.
In his March 5 video, Booya explained that the new JAK Glassless Optic unlocks the full potential of the MCW, as it has with a number of other weapons since arriving as a fresh Aftermarket Part.
The AR fell in popularity after its recoil was reduced at the start of the season, but the huge buff to aiming stability offered by the JAK Glassless more than make up for it, as he claimed it absolutely “slaps” with it equipped.
Booya shared his complete loadout for the MCW in Warzone, which you can check out below.
Booya’s best MCW loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: Casus Brake
- Barrel: 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
- Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
FaZe Booya’s best MCW build in Warzone focuses on eliminating recoil to make it extremely effective over long ranges. The Casus Break and 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel both help him achieve this, but the real star of the show is the JAK Glassless Optic, which makes the AR laser-accurate.
He also wanted to prioritize mobility, so he went for the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop for a quicker ADS and sprint-to-fire speed, as well as the 40 Round Mags over the usual 60.
With this setup, Booya clearly feels that the MCW is ready to challenge the best guns in Warzone once again. As new options like the SOA Subverter arrive in-game, we’ll have to wait and see how it fairs in Season 2 Reloaded.
