Following the buffs and nerfs and new weaponry in Season 5, Warzone‘s close-range meta has become extremely competitive, with its latest addition being a powerful Shotgun that will bring back old memories for veteran players.

The Reclaimer 18, also known as the iconic SPAS-12, became one of the most popular close-range weapons in the game. Its popularity stems from its Semi-Auto mode, which lets players rapidly fire shots to easily eliminate enemies at close range.

This Warzone Shotgun deals extremely high damage with a 670ms TTK up to around 6 meters, compared to the Superi 46 and Static-HV‘s 661ms and 635ms respectively. Its fire ammo type and damage profile effectiveness resemble the infamous Origin 12 from Warzone’s previous iteration.

Content creator Swagg featured the Reclaimer 18 in his top 10 best weapons in Warzone video on August 5. He described it as “disgusting,” especially in automatic mode, where its spamming capability allows for quickly eliminating enemies.

However, to get the most out of it you’ll need to equip the best Reclaimer 18 loadout. First, the Discourager 900 Heavy Barrel and XTEN Full Choke Muzzle combo will extend the damage range and improve bullet velocity and recoil.

Then, No Stock will significantly improve mobility but will require using the Shotgun in Tac Stance for greater accuracy. To help with that, the Kimura RYL33 Laser Light will reduce the spread when using this feature.

Lastly, the Center Mass Grip Tape Rear Grip will help with ADS, Tac Sprint, and sprint-to-fire speed to prevent enemies from catching you off guard.

This build lets you maximize your two-shot potential at close range. This makes it easy to take down enemies, even those using meta SMGs like the Superi 46 or Static-HV.

To round it out, use the best controller settings and audio setup to avoid losing track of any enemies.
