Seasonal buffs and nerfs often affect the Warzone meta, noticeably changing players’ weapon choices. However, having a powerful SMG that can perform at mid to close ranges is essential to dominate.

Despite going largely unnoticed due to the huge popularity of the Superi 46 and FJX Horus, the Striker received a minor buff to its lower torso damage modifier, increasing from 1 to 1.1x with Season 4 Reloaded.

While this change doesn’t make it the top-tier meta, subsequent nerfs to its meta counterparts’ have made the iconic SMG a more viable option.

Up to 30 meters, which is ideal for SMGs, the Striker remains one of the top three choices among popular picks. It has a TTK of 651ms at 12m and 798ms at 28 meters, compared to the Superi 46’s average TTK of 620ms and 720ms, respectively.

However, when equipped with the best loadout, the Striker’s performance improves significantly, becoming incredibly powerful due to its high damage and long range.

In his July 18 video, popular creator WhosImmortal also highlighted the gun, stating it’s the most “versatile” SMG in Warzone, boasting a “phenomenal” range and being extremely “snappy, aggressive, and easy to use.”

To maximize its potential, certain attachments can enhance its already impressive stats. Begin with the Striker Elite Long Barrel, which significantly improves range, bullet velocity, and overall recoil control.

Then, the Lachmann MK2 Light Stock and DR-6 Handstop Underbarrel combo will boost mobility, including movement, sprint to fire, tac sprint, and ADS speeds.

The ZEHMN25 Compensated Flash Hider Muzzle will further help with the recoil control. Lastly, the 60 Round Mag will prevent you from running out of bullets given the gun’s quick fire rate.

Be sure to combine this loadout with the best audio settings and controller setup to dominate Warzone lobbies easily.
