Loot earned via supply drops do not reset when you prestige

UPDATE: Condrey has clarified and stated that if you have earned a loot weapon, once you prestige, you need to unlock the base weapon again through rank before you can use the loot-custom weapon.

Michael Condrey, on Twitter, has confirmed that the loot that you earn via supply drops will not be lost once you prestige in-game.

The loot will be earned via supply drops, which are unlocked by completing challenges, leveling up, and more.
