Max Level in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout is Level 80

In the latest GameInformer Podcast Episode, Treyarch’s Vonderhaar has revealed that Blackout features a total of 80 levels to rank up through to get to the highest level.

Vahn stated that Blackout leveling up system is “very different” then the MP level system, and that there is no prestiging in Blackout beyond level 80. Blackout leveling up is dependent upon player performance, unlike MP where you just earn XP for many different activities in-game. Vahn says you have to get kills and place highly in matches in Blackout in order to level up.

Players will also be able to earn and unlock rewards as they level up in Blackout. Vahn mentioned that reaching the highest level in Blackout will unlock “the grand daddy of prizes” but did not provide specifics. There are rewards for progressing in Blackout and leveling up.
