Meta Warzone SMG outguns Assault Rifles with best long-range TTK

A nerfed Warzone SMG is now, surprisingly, one of the best long-range options that boasts a better TTK than some of the top rifles in Season 4 Reloaded.

After the July 2 update, the Superi 46 received a big hit to its damage profile, reducing its close-range capabilities. This has ultimately opened up a pathway for other options like the FJX Horus to shine.

However, the Superi 46 isn’t down and out, as it actually becomes one of the best long-range weapons in the game when you use certain attachments. Building the SMG with attachments like the Houndguard Heavy Barrel and 4.6mm High Grain Ammunition increases the weapon’s damage range and bullet velocity.

Using these range-extending attachments allows the Superi 46 to compete with some of the most popular rifles in Warzone when it comes to long-range gunfights.

In fact, I found the SMG incredibly easy to control at range too, incorporating these long-range attachments in our best loadout for the Superi 46. Our build for the SMG includes the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider, which is great for reducing recoil and improving the SMG’s firing stability.

WhosImmortal revealed that the Superi 46 actually has a better TTK than MCW with the JAK Raven Kit, BP50, and Holger 556 from close all the way up to the 80-meter range, especially when you factor in sprint-to-fire speeds.

The popular Call of Duty content creator described the Superi 46 as a loadout the “secret rifle meta” that players “need to use.”

It’s not just its long-range TTK that WhosImmortal appreciates either, as he also highlighted the gun’s ADS and incredibly fast strafe speeds, which make it easier to get the first shot off and also harder for the enemy to hit their shots, as you’ll be moving faster across their screen.

All-in-all, the Superi 46 makes for a great SMG/AR hybrid weapon, that competes with the best options in the game. The Superi was nerfed on July 2 alongside the Kar98k, so if you’re looking to replace the Marksman Rifle, check out our best Snipers for Warzone‘s current season.
