Modern Warfare 3 key art leaks ahead of official reveal
ActivisionA new leak revealed the official title key art for this year’s Modern Warfare 3 ahead of its reportedly August reveal through an in-game live Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone event.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone‘s Season 5 brought a lot of content to the game, such as new Operators, weapons, modes, and more.
But as has been happening with the latest updates, leak files from the PC version begin to emerge quickly after the new season update launched, allowing players to get a first look at this year’s installment.
What seems to be Modern Warfare 3‘s key art has leaked, confirming some details of the next Call of Duty installment reportedly led by Sledgehammer Games. Here’s a first look at the Modern Warfare 3 key art.
As previously noted, the leaked images reveal a potential color scheme shift for Modern Warfare 3. For the first time, the classic Modern Warfare’s green could be replaced with red.
Furthermore, the images feature familiar faces of the Call of Duty franchise, including the well-known character Cpt. Price, portrayed by Barry Sloane. The actor returns once again to reprise the role he began with the reboot of the popular saga in Modern Warfare in 2019.
Behind Price, we catch a glimpse of what looks like Vladimir Makarov, the main antagonist and legendary COD villain. Looks like he’s set to make an official return in the reboot, following small teasers in the Campaign and Multiplayer Raids.
Recently with the announcement of Season 5, Call of Duty would confirm the “worldwide reveal for Call of Duty 2023 in a limited-time event” within Call of Duty: Warzone during the season.
According to some leaks, this event would be directly connected to Modern Warfare 2 and its sequel Modern Warfare 3’s plot, where players would be joining the ranks of Shadow Company to take on Konni forces and secure the chemical weapon threat before it’s too late.
