Modern Warfare 3 players slam “inconsistent” TTK in beta

Modern Warfare 3 players are discussing the beta experience, with some complaining about the TTK and calling it “inconsistent.”

Call of Duty fans are diving into the Modern Warfare 3 beta to get a taste of the game ahead of its November 10 launch.

With the second weekend of the MW3 beta allowing PC and Xbox players to experience the test, more players than ever are enjoying the title, but this also means more opinions and feedback for Sledgehammer Games.

As well as feeling as if the beta would be better with a missing Perk, players in the community are also highlighting the TTK, with some calling it “inconsistent.”

Reddit user ‘JCglitchmaster‘ put a post up in the Modern Warfare 3 subreddit with the title “I Have Never Played a Game With a More Inconsistent TTK Before in My Life.”

In the post, the player details their experience with the TTK in MW3, claiming that “there are way too many things in modern CODs that affect TTK and it’s more prevalent than ever in this game.”

The player detailed some of the variables that affect TTK, “limb multipliers, torso multipliers, excessive penetration multipliers and depending on the range it can literally quadruple the TTK.”

The user claims it’s all these variables create an “inconsistent TTK.” They praise the movement and maps, “but when my gun will randomly have 5x the TTK and same for the enemies and other times it drops people in the rounds it feels like it should, it just makes for an overall frustrating experience.

They aren’t the only ones who feel this way either, as one comment read “Glad you brought up the limb multiplier, it feels especially underwhelming. I’ve racked up 5-10 hit markers shooting between legs and it doesn’t feel too good,” while another commented, “The TTK / TTD is laughably bad.”

It’s important to remember that this is only the beta, and Modern Warfare 3 could go through a lot of changes from now to launch and even through its lifespan.
