Modern Warfare 3 brings an extensive number of camos that players can unlock and show off during multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone gameplay. If you’re looking to grind camos, here are all the camo sets in MW3.

Modern Warfare 3 brings a new Call of Duty for players to dive into. The game reintroduces several fan-favorite movement mechanics like the slide cancel, beloved gameplay features, as well as new additions like the Tac-Stance or the Gear-based Perk system.

Luckily for camo grinders, MW3 offers over 100 different weapons, which are a ton of fun to hunt and unlock. From multiplayer to Zombies, the game boasts weapon skins that will allow you to showcase your camo expertise in both modes.

Modern Warfare 3 weapon camo system explained

The camo system in Modern Warfare 3 works similarly to that in MW2, with two distinct categories: Base camos and Mastery camos. To earn Base camos, players must complete one to four specific challenges related to that particular camo with a specific weapon.

Base camos are universally applicable. Once unlocked for a weapon, they can be used on all other weapons in the game. This means you don’t need to separately unlock the same Base camo for each weapon you wish to use it on.

Modern Warfare 3 also brings a new set of Mastery camos for both multiplayer and Zombies modes. Also, Call of Duty confirmed that all multiplayer camos, except the MW2 Completionist set, can be applied to any weapon in both MW3 and MW2.

Modern Warfare 3 offers 18 different camo sets, which can be unlocked by playing multiplayer and Zombies using MW3 weapons.

For those who prefer the Zombies mode, Modern Warfare 3 features plenty of camo sets to unlock, making it the “biggest Zombies Camo grind of all time.” Similar to the multiplayer sets, Zombies will have camos available for both MW3 and MW2 weapons.

Every MW2 weapon has up to four individual Zombies camos, each requiring unlock challenges to earn. Then, just like the MW3 multiplayer camos, every MW3 weapon has up to four brand-new individual Zombie camos, each requiring unlock challenges to obtain.
