You can locate these items scattered on the map while playing a match, and by successfully extracting them into your Rucksack, they will be included in your Acquisition Stash, which is accessible through the Rucksack Menu.

MWZ Acquisitions are split into two sections: Raw and Refined Aetherium Crystals and Uncommon, Rare, and Epic Aether Tools. The first will allow you to “upgrade your Pack-a-Punch weapon to Levels I and II,” while the former will upgrade the weapon you’re using to a “rare form.” According to the blog, the rarer the form, the better the damage the weapon will do.
