MW3 CoD Warrior mini-games explained
ActivisionModern Warfare 3 Season 5 introduces the brand-new CoD Warrior mode that brings a variety of mini-games into one playlist.
With each new season, the devs introduce new modes that provide fast-paced experiences with varied rules, weaponry, and content tweaks. These include modes like parkour-based Get Higher and team-based challenges like Mutation. However, CoD Warrior stands out for its mix of frenetic mini-games in bite-sized formats.
So, here’s everything you need to know about this MW3 mode including all the mini-games available.
What is CoD Warrior mode in MW3?
CoD Warrior is a brand-new MW3 mode where three teams of two compete in a series of 15 “randomized quickfire mini-games.” Each round win earns a point, and the first team to reach five points wins.
Mini-games have round timers ranging from 30 to 90 seconds with players having only one life per round with no respawns.

Beat Up the Car
- Two teams spawn with Sledgehammers and a vehicle; the first team to destroy the opposing car wins.
- Round time: 60 Seconds
Breacher Ball
- All players are given unlimited Breacher Drones to use as their weaponry.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Bullet Time
- All players are handed “extremely low-velocity weapons,” allowing them to avoid enemy fire.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Shoot
- Players spawn in a circle with TYR Handguns.
- Round time: 30 seconds
Don’t Shoot
- Opposed to the ‘Shoot’ mini-game, players spawn in a circle and are also given TYR Handguns. However, shooting them will kill you on the spot.

Drone Wars
- All players have Stormenders and Bomb Drones.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Fragged
- Players are provided with unlimited Frag Grenades and a Riot Shield to protect themselves from explosions.

The Hunt
- Players are divided into hunters with weapons tasked to kill runners without any equipment.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Knives
- Players will only have knives to fight with.
- Round time: 60 seconds
“Meta” Loadout
- Players are handed “poorly optimized Loadouts” to survive against each other.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Miniguns for Everyone
- Everyone is provided a Juggernaut suit and a minigun to fight with.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Last Ninja Standing
- Taking advantage of increased movement speed and jump height, players will only have the characteristic Ninja’s Throwing Stars to kill their opponents.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Revive
- To win, teams must locate and revive a downed teammate.
- Round time: 60 seconds
Shocking
- Players must survive while being affected by the Shock Stick’s electrocution.
- Round time: 90 seconds
Turret Time
- Players are handed Stormender Launchers and a Remote Turret to survive. Turrets can kill enemies, while the Stormender can be used to destroy them easily.
- Round time: 90 seconds
