MW3 expert claims Aftermarket Part sniper build is meta again thanks to Season 3 buffs
ActivisionCall of Duty content creator and MW3 expert WhosImmortal has revealed a surprising rifle loadout that he claims is a meta pick for those who enjoy quick scoping and sniping thanks to an Aftermarket Part.
MW3‘s Aftermarket Parts often blur the lines between the different weapon categories in the game, as these special attachments can completely change the behavior and properties of a weapon.
While detailing the top ten meta class setups in MW3 Season 3, WhosImmortal included the BAS-B with the JAK Outlaw-277 Conversion Kit, which essentially turns the Battle Rifle into a Sniper that the expert claims is perfect for quickscoping.
WhosImmortal praised the BAS-B with the JAK Outlaw-227 Aftermarket Part, as thanks to buffs in the Season 3 update, it’s now a “guaranteed two-hit” kill, and if you can hit your headshots, it’ll put enemy Operators down in one. “The fire rate is crazy, the mobility is crazy,” claimed WhosImmortal, adding that the weapon is “so much fun.”
For those interested, luckily WhosImmortal did share his best loadout for the BAS-B with the JAK Outlaw-227, so here are all the attachments you need to build it.
WhosImmortal’s best BAS-B JAK Outlaw-227 loadout
- Barrel: Wyvern’s Respite Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Conversion Kit: JAK Outlaw-227 Kit
- Stock: Sawed Off Mod
- Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light
The star of the show for WhosImmortal’s MW3 BAS-B loadout is of course the JAK Outlaw-227 Kit, which is what turns the Battle Rifle into a devastating Sniper build.
To give the weapon some added mobility and make it great for quickscoping, the Sawed Off Mod stock is exactly what you want to go for, while the SL Razorhawk Laser Light further improves the weapon’s handling and mobility with an increase to aim down sight and sprint to fire speeds.
Further boosting mobility is the DR-6 Handstop, while the Wyvern’s Respite Long Barrel improves the BAS-B’s damage range and bullet velocity for those engagements that are further out.
Definitely give this loadout a go if you’re looking for something fun to run in MW3 Season 3. It may take some practice to get your aim up to speed, but if you’re someone who loves using Snipers with one-shot potential, this is a great option.
