MW3 expert Swagg reveals “three-shot” SMG loadout to dominate close-range meta
ActivisionSMGs are the go-to guns for close-range gunfights in Modern Warfare 3, and CoD expert FaZe Swagg has shared an “insane” SMG build that can drop enemies in just three shots.
Modern Warfare 3 features a diverse range of weapons that shine in different situations. Assault Rifles are perfect for mid-range, while Sniper Rifles like the Longbow can pick off enemies at a distance with ease.
But when it comes to close-quarters fights, most players go for an SMG. However, many feel that the category is underpowered in MW3, struggling to keep up with the TTKs offered by other weapons.
Luckily, CoD expert FaZe Swagg has shared an SMG loadout that’s capable of killing players in no time at all.
In his November 20 video, Swagg revealed his “three-shot” Striker build for MW3, which he explained is absolutely “insane” in multiplayer matches.
“[The] Striker is just one of those guns that doesn’t have the fastest fire rate, but it has no recoil [and] very strong damage overall,” the YouTuber explained. He also added that on top of the lighting-fast TTK at close range, the Striker is arguably the “best” SMG for medium range.
Swagg went on to share the attachments needed for his best Striker loadout in MW3, check them out below.
Swagg’s “three-shot” Striker loadout in MW3
- Barrel: Striker Elite Long Barrel
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor S
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Ammunition: .45 Auto High Grain
- Magazine: 48 Round Mag
Swagg kicked off his best Striker loadout in MW3 with the Striker Elite Long Barrel, which offers extra range while keeping some of the SMG’s kick in check. He then added Monolithic Suppressor S to keep his shots off the radar while also reducing the recoil.
Then, he picked the DR-6 Handstop for faster ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds, ensuring the Striker can land the first shots. The key to this build was .45 Auto High Grain, which Swagg claimed allowed the SMG to kill with one less bullet even at mid-range.
Finally, he went for the 48 Round Mags to make sure players could deal with multiple enemies before having to reload.
So if you’re looking for a deadly SMG build in Modern Warfare 3, be sure to give Swagg’s three-shot Striker loadout a try in your next match. For more on MW3, check out our other guides:
