Modern Warfare 3 players are calling for the devs to make 10v10 Mosh Pit permanent after feeling as if the SBMM is lowered in the mode.

Modern Warfare 3 players are gearing up for Season 1, looking forward to ranking up past Level 55 with a seasonal prestige system as well as anticipating the arrival of new maps and the Warzone integration.

Since launch, players have been grinding the game, unlocking weapons, and trying out new modes such as War and Cutthroat. As was evident during Sledgehammer Games’ AMA, however, there is still one looming issue that players feel plagues the experience, and that’s skill-based matchmaking (SBMM).

That said, players seem very happy with the new 10v10 Mosh Pit playlist that was introduced in the November 22 playlist update, as players such as Reddit user Pandacapy91 feel as if “SBMM is toned in this mode,” making it much more enjoyable.

The user put a post in the MW3 subreddit that said, “10v10 in MWIII is…honestly the most fun I’ve had in call duty in years.”

In fact, many others in the comments are sharing similar thoughts and feelings about the 10v10 Mosh Pit, as one comment read, “I feel like the SBMM is heavily reduced also. There’s a mix of bots, a couple sweats, and average people in every lobby I’ve played so far. It’s a lot of fun.”

Many are claiming that the player count could be a reason why the SBMM feels toned down in 10v10, as “it’s harder to find specific skill levels the more players you add.”

Players seem to be having a lot of fun in this 10v10 Mosh Pit mode, so much so that many in the community would actually like to see it become a permanent playlist addition.

“Needs to be a permanent mode!” one player said, while another commented, “It’s amazing and needs to stay permanently.”

That said, while many are praising the mode for a more relaxed experience compared to Quick Play, others are slightly more cautious, claiming that the SBMM will eventually kick in: “Placebo effect. SBMM will hit full force once the placebo wears out. Hint: its gonna be quick.”

We’ll have to wait and see whether or not 10v10 will remain in MW3, but if players continue to call for it to stay, perhaps Sledgehammer Games will adhere to the requests. For more, check out the best weapons to use in MW3.
