MW3 players call for “powerful” Perk to return but it could be too OP
ActivisionModern Warfare 3 players are desperate for a powerful Perk to return in multiplayer after noticing it had been left out of the new Gear system.
Modern Warfare 3 players have had some time to dig their teeth into multiplayer, which is certainly the most popular mode over Zombies and the campaign.
Many players have now reached max level, awaiting Season 1 and the Prestige system to be introduced to the game. There’s a lot of content to discover, especially with many weapons, Perks, and more stuck behind Armory Unlock challenges, which hasn’t been the most popular innovation.
Sledgehammer Games decided to remold the Perk system in MW3 with Gear, and while there are many combinations that players can now customize their loadouts with, there’s one absent Perk that players seem to be missing.
Quick Fix has been a popular Perk in many past Call of Duty multiplayer games, but it has not returned in MW3 after being included in MW2. The Perk allows players to regenerate their health faster after getting kills, which is useful in hectic situations.
Reddit user ‘nothing_in‘ shared a post highlighting Quick Fix’s absence in the MW3, as they put a post up that said, “Anyone miss the Quick Fix perk? I really want this perk comeback.”
They aren’t the only one who would like to see this Perk make a return either, as many comments under the post shared similar opinions, as one user said, “Yep, feel like the regen rate is way too slow,” while another agreed, “Quick Fix needs to Return!”
While there is the option of Stims, which a user in the comments pointed out, some feel that they don’t have the same effect as Quick Fix and are not worth a spot in their loadout: “Stims help a tiny bit, but it’s not worth using the tactical slot like that,” said one user, while another commented, “Stims just aren’t the same, especially when other non-lethals are so powerful!”
That said, there are some in the community who aren’t so keen on this Perk returning, especially with the higher TTK, as one user commented, “I think it could actually get pretty annoying with this ttk. Cause then people would constantly get healed up after your teammates just lit them up.”
Another user agreed, “Quick Fix + a TTK of 300ms? They’d be unkillable if they were on an objective. No thanks.”
MW3 will likely go through many changes as each season is released, so we’ll just have to wait and see how the game develops and whether or not Quick Fix will return. Until then, check out when the new Warzone map will be released.
