MW3 & Warzone Vortex Death’s Lair event dates, challenges & rewards
ActivisionMW3 and Warzone introduced a new Season 4 Reloaded event called Vortex Death’s Lair, which features a ton of free-themed rewards players can unlock.
Here’s all you need to know about the new Vortex event, including how to unlock all the cosmetic content available.
Vortex Death’s Lair event dates in Warzone & MW3
MW3 and Warzone’s Vortex Death’s Lair event kicked off on July 10, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST and will remain active until July 24, 2024, at the same time.
How to earn event rewards
To unlock the event rewards, players need to complete specific in-game challenges across all the modes (multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone). To earn a reward, you’ll need to pick just one of the three modes to complete each challenge.

MW3 and Warzone’s Vortex Death’s Lair event features 10 free rewards players can get by fulfilling the challenges required. By completing the event, players will unlock the Press “F” SVA 545 Weapon Blueprint (see picture below).
ActivisionFastest way to complete Vortex Death’s Lair challenges
Due to the tricky requirements of some of MW3’s multiplayer and Zombies, the fastest way to complete Vortex Death’s Lair challenges is by playing Warzone.
Most of WZ’s challenges will require getting kills with specific weapon categories or completing Contracts, which shouldn’t be challenging at all, especially if you drop into the mode with a full squad.
However, feel free to select the game mode you feel more comfortable with, and make sure to mix them so you can get all nine required to unlock the Mastery reward easily.
To make this task easier, be sure to have the best guns equipped, as well as the optimal controller and audio settings.
