New 500GB Xbox 360 comes bundled with Ghosts and Black Ops 2 for $249, available next week

Microsoft has announced their Xbox 360 holiday bundle line up. This year, they’re offering a 500GB Xbox 360 console with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Black Ops 2 and a month Xbox Live Gold card for $249.

“Coming into its ninth holiday shopping season, Xbox 360 continues to deliver amazing games and entertainment experiences to consumers,” noted Mike Nichols, CVP of Marketing for Xbox. “These new bundles for holiday shoppers, new lower price points and new special edition blue console are sure to delight gamers young and old this holiday.”

Starting next week, you’ll have access to some of our best holiday bundles ever. For starters, our 500GB Holiday Value Bundle comes with two of the best first-person shooters on the platform, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops II. You also get one month of Xbox Live Gold access, and a newly upgraded 500GB hard drive. All for $50 less, just $249!

As previously rumored, the same bundle will be available at Walmart, but it will come in a Blue console version.

In addition, as you may have seen, if you decide to buy your Xbox 360 at Walmart in the U.S., we’ve got a special edition version of this amazing bundle. The Xbox 360 Special Edition Blue Bundle also includes an iconic blue console and controller, decked out with arctic blue accents. It includes everything mentioned in the bundle above, for the same low price of $249. This will be available at Walmart starting on October 7.
