New game mode for Black Ops 3 announced: ‘Free Run’

During the second BO3Friday live stream, Treyarch has revealed an all new game mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 called Free Run.

This new mode is for fans to try out the new movement system with level based challenging courses and compete against your friends. Players have to use thrust jumps, slides, and more to maneuver through the courses. The feature also has weapon challenges; every time you miss a shot, you get a 1 second penalty.

Free Run features multiple maps/courses that will vary in the environment and difficulty of them.

Activision and Treyarch have not confirmed yet if this mode will be available on Xbox 360 or PS3. We’ll update once we get more information.
