Week 3 Challenges in Warzone and MW3 Season 5 give players the chance to earn the JAK Slash Aftermarket Part, a new Underbarrel attachment that’s becoming a meta choice for loadouts thanks to its speed boost.

The JAK Slash improves movement, crouch, sprint, and tactical sprint speeds while providing a boost to vertical recoil too. It’s a great choice for close-range SMGs like the Static-HV and even Sniper Support guns like the BP50.

I found it especially strong with the Static-HV on Rebirth Island Resurgence. It made close-quarters fights a breeze, allowing me to get in and out of situations quickly, whether I needed to quickly finish off a kill or escape to plate up.

It makes movement feel very smooth, so those who like to play aggressively will definitely want to give it a shot.

Even popular Call of Duty YouTuber Metaphor is singing its praises, as he recommended using the JAK Slash on the Superi 46 to increase its already great movement speeds. Even with the nerfs to the Superi, this Underbarrel gives the SMG such a boost to its movement that it can compete in the meta again.

He said, “movement feels so goated with it,” and highly recommended it for those who like to play Resurgence and quickly snap onto enemy Operators.

The YouTuber also pointed out that the attachment replaces your melee with a lethal slash, which downs enemies in just two hits. This can be very strong for finishing off enemies in close quarters, and also for eliminating downed enemies fast to pick up their loot.

If you decide to use the JAK Slash with a close-range weapon, be sure to pair it with one of the best Assault Rifles in the game, or perhaps you’d prefer something a little more tanky like an LMG.
