GameInformer’s Digital Issue magazine has shared some more information regarding Blackout.

GameInformer’s team went to Treyarch and got over 2 hours of hands on time with the new Battle Royale mode, Blackout, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

GameInformer has shared some information on how players will enter the Blackout map in Black Ops 4, which rings similar to other popular Battle Royale games out there like Fortnite and PUBG.

Players will start on a large helicopter that will fly across the length of the map, in random, different location every game. Once you are ready to leave, you can deploy from the helicopter and use your wing-suit to travel down towards the location you want to get too. Once you reach a certain height, a parachute will auto-deploy to bring you down.

With the wingsuits, players will be able to use those at any point during a match — it’s always equipped and will provide support when wanting to leave from an area. You can jump off a large building to move to another area, or use your wingsuit to leave a helicopter in dangerous situations.
