PlayStation 4 launches Nov. 15 in North America; Nov. 29th in EU
Sony has just announced the PS4 will be available on Nov. 15 in the North America and will be coming Nov. 29th to Europe.
If you watched our press conference at gamescom, you’ve already heard some of the great news we’ve just shared that gamers everywhere have been waiting for. Today, we’re happy to confirm that PlayStation 4 (PS4) will launch on November 15th in the U.S. and Canada – in time for the holidays! PlayStation fans in Europe and Latin America will also be able to get their hands on a PS4 system on November 29th, so you’ll be able to connect with your friends and fellow gamers worldwide on PS4 this year, taking advantage of all of the deeply integrated social features and incredible gaming experiences that PS4 has to offer
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available on launch day for the PS4.
In addition, the PlayStation 4 will launch in 32 countries and has over 1 million preorders so far.
Also, Sony announced their new upgrade program, which allows you to upgrade from a PS3 version of a game to a PS4 version of a game at a discounted price.
For those PS3 owners deciding whether to buy the PS3 or PS4 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, Watchdogs or Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, when those games launch on PS$, if you have already bought the PS3 versions will be able to buy the PS4 version discounted.
