You can now pre-load Black Ops 3 on Xbox One – UPDATE

UPDATE: It appears that Activision and Xbox have taken Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 off the Xbox One store, and as of right now, players are unable to preorder the title digitally on Xbox One. The description of the game now says ‘Available at your local retailer for preorder.’

Players can still preorder the game digitally on PS4 and on Steam for PC.

We’ll update once we get more information from Activision.

We’re getting multiple reports on Twitter that users are now able to start pre-loading Black Ops 3 on Xbox One. If you’ve already preordered the title digitally on Xbox One, going to Games and Apps, you should see that it asks you to manage 44.9 GB of Black Ops 3. It should give you the option to install that file (as seen in the image above), if it didn’t do it automatically.

The game will unlock at midnight local time on November 6, and if you’re in North America, it will unlock at midnight EST on November 6.

We’re awaiting full confirmation about this. Stay tuned.

No details yet have been revealed on when PS4 and PC players will be able to pre-load Black Ops 3. Stay tuned.
